Wireless spy camera is an new device. On the outside, it is your normal multifunctional digital, but on the inside, it is packed with something else.
The hidden camera is equipped with of invisible infrared lights. This allows you to your chosen room even in the dark. It also has a very sensitive light sensor that automatically turns on when the room is dark. It is a lot different from the night vision that you have to turn on manually.

Camera WIFI connection steps:
1. First connect the power to the camera, then turn on the camera, press the reset button on the camera for 5 seconds to restart the camera.
2. Open the downloaded APP
3. Click the Add button in the upper right corner.
4. Click on the first one to add a camera.
5. Enter your 2.4GHz WiFi and password. When your mobile phone is connected to 2.4G WiFi, it will automatically pop up. If it doesn't pop out, you can click the "…" at the back to select WiFi, and then return to the APP after selecting WiFi. Note that the camera only supports 2.4G WiFi. Then click Next.
6. Click the "…" behind the blank box, and then jump to the WiFi setting page of the mobile phone, select the camera hotspot "ACC…/BCC…", then return to the APP, and then click Next.
7. At this time, the camera will connect to the WiFi from the east to the west, and the connection will be completed, and it will display completed. After clicking Finish, it will automatically go to the next step, and then you can set the camera.
This completes the WIFI connection.

The camera has three working modes:
The working modes are as follows:
1. Connectable to WiFi: After maintaining WiFi connection, you can view its information in real time on your mobile phone (the camera WiFi connection manual has detailed operation steps).
2. The second is to connect to the AP contact: this method is to open the camera reset first, then open the mobile phone WiFi page, connect the camera hotspot "DG……", and then directly click the AP to view the single phone in the mobile APP information.
3. The third is to insert the SD card: After inserting the SD card into the card slot, when you connect to WiFi and do not view it on the phone, or when the WiFi is not connected, the information will be automatically stored in the SD card and a loop cover will be made.

I don’t even see how in the world these things are selling, it’s just pure trash. Quality sucks, it doesn’t stay charged and you have to keep it on charge the whole time, and it has its own WiFi network you use to connect to it but it’s not secure so literally anyone that knows what they’re looking for can easily access it and that’s a major security breach.

The item description and the fact that they can’t distinguish between an SD card and a micro SD card in their answers to customer questions should be enough to tell you that this item is not good.
First, the slot for the micro SD card is not good. It consistently does not lock in the card. So, while I was recording hours of video thinking it would save to the card, it in fact saved it to the local device. That might not sound so bad, until you realize you cannot transfer that data to the micro SD card. That means you can only use the app for video playback.
That itself wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world, but the app playback is absolutely garbage. You cannot time scroll through the video at all. So, if you have 20 minutes of video, but need to see only the last 10 minutes, you have to wait 10 minutes of real time to get to the pertinent parts.
There are also serious problems with maintaining a connection to the camera. You can tell it to record video via the app, but then, if you put your phone to sleep, it stops recording. The procedure here is to tell it to record, homescreen so the app is in the background, and then put your phone to sleep.
Despite it being a useless item for most of its purposes, I gave it 2 stars because it does have motion detection (flimsy as it is), and it does actually take photos and pictures. But look elsewhere for mobility of data.

The camera had a decent picture. It came through over the app fairly clear. Connecting the mobile app to the camera was confusing the directions were not very precise in word for word and step for step. The camera name and what was in the directions didn’t match up, in addition to , the directions for locating the correct ID or camera was not clear as to where it would be found . Also wi fi and cellular instructions were no where near what was printed and were possibly for a different model. The biggest disappointment was for the sd card that is in the description for the camera that said was included with the camera purchase is not correct. The sd card was not included in the package delivered . For the price the camera itself is ok. Also, the power for the camera is not reliable it gets hot and shuts off . You get what pay for. Dont count on it for a reliable source. For fun it’s just ok.

Camera only seems to work when it wants to. When it worked it had great video. Then it gets a little hot. Stops working. To me it’s a fire danger. So I thought I would exchange it for something different but I’m like 2 weeks past my 30 day return so I’m out my money and a camera. Live and learn I guess

I’m not sure how this product even had good reviews. This is a cheap excuse for equipment or a camera. Couldn’t get it to work at all, which didn’t surprise me once I opened the box and saw the “camera.” I feel like it’s all a ploy to download the app needed to operate it. My phone is probably hacked by now. Does not work, and is garbage. Amazon should stop trying to sell this to customers. Bad business.

I was under the impression that it was wireless but it won’t stay on without a power source as it says in directions that the camera itself doesn’t have a battery. That sort of defeated the purpose of it for me. Connecting it was hard as the instructions so small but once I finally got it connected picture and video quality are very good at least on my end. I think it depends on internet service you have because mine comes in very clear.

Just got this today and setup was ok, the picture is nice, and didn’t know the bottom is magnetic. But concerned as the device is rather warm for not being plugged in long and that the setting screen for ‘Alarm’ is not reading in English (Don’t know how to set this screen). But the size is incredibly small! Will have to add more as I use it more.

If I could give it a zero I would. It doesn’t stay charged, its not wireless, and no direct wifi connection. You must stay active on your phone connected to a foreign wifi network
while keeping the app open or it will disconnect. Not worth the price and terrible quality image.

Bought this to monitor my 3D printers from afar. Gonna buy more to add to my security at my shop. Very small. Easy setup. App is decent.
1. Downloaded the app from Google Play.
2. Connected my phone to the wifi broadcast from the camera.
3. Inserted a micro SD and plugged into an empty USB slot with power.
4. Formatted the SD inserted in the camera, no PC needed.
5. Named it and put a password on it.
Super easy if you’ve done any kind of setup for cameras before.
I had expected the camera quality to be awful and very short range but instead I’m able to use one camera to watch both printers at the same time. For the price you can’t beat it You just have to plan ahead to have a power supply. You could also Daisy chain this with a power block so that if the power goes out in your building you still have a recording camera. One big plus is the ability to turn off the light that so you can’t tell that it’s recording. Very stealthy.

This is perfect if your wanting to monitor people in your home. It’s so small and if you don’t know to look for it you’d never know it was there. So I bought this as a gift for my cousin to spy on his wife because of her behavior and the extremes she would go to he wanted them on camera to use in court if/when he decides to divorce her. So if your needing to keep an eye on your home or someone in your home this is perfect because it’s so small that it’d be un-noticeable to everyone who doesn’t know that it’s there.

I was really surprised how clear the picture was with this camera compared to other small spy cameras I’ve had or seen. The night vision on mine anyway was much better than just being good out a few inches. I could see all the way across a decent sized room with it, so it works well too. The big drawback has been that I cannot get the motion detection to work and notify me if something trips it. It’s the main reason I bought this item, so I could find out if anyone was breaking into my place, because I’ve had a couple expensive items come up missing. So, if I’m gone for over an hour, then it would take a long time to go through all the saved footage to see if anything happened while I was out, which I don’t have time for. I’d easy to find where to you’re supposed to are able to turn motion detection on, but no joy. So, if the sellers can get it to work, then it would be a great camera to have.
