Great water bottle! Saw an ad of the new Osaka design and was pretty hesitant buying the older model due to reports of the straw not holding up for the bottle when sipping. I have experience with multiple water bottles but this is a first for me with their dual sip design. Ended up giving this a try as I hoped they had heard other people’s thoughts and concerns about the product’s flaws. They have a variety of colors to choose from and two sizes, I have chosen the 30oz since I want to get something for everyday use and won’t be bulky.

Upon opening it was packaged very well, and can immediately tell it will be a very durable bottle. The design was well thought out—the bottle isn’t bulky or heavy but on the lightweight side. It is also easy to grip and hold onto as there are side ridges to be able to grab easily. There is a rubber part on top that is removable and easy to clean as some bottles won’t have this feature, hence dirt and gunk will be trapped in between the cover when you’re constantly sipping on the mouth part. The dual design of sipping the water is great, as it keeps the straw covered and clean along with it being a flip cover for easy use. The flip cover even has a feature of locking and unlocking to add the extra durability of keeping water/liquids from leaking accidentally.

In terms of the bottle keeping water cold and hot, I’ve only had experience with iced water since I just got it. It’s kept my water cold for more than 12-16+ hours especially when I put ice inside.

Overall for the price it’s reasonable considering the quality and design of the bottle, It’s a good value for what you pay. I can see myself using this for a long time and also gifting this to friends & family!

Large, easy to clean. Fits on my backpack side pouch and keeps my water cold for hours. Very sturdy and great for slapping stickers on. Haven't had any issues with it leaking during the times I put it in my bag and the handle makes it easy to carry around. It is very top large so it's hard to use one handed but not too big a deal.

It would be nice if they included a cleaning brush for cleaning the straw instead of making you buy it separately.

I love Owala water bottles already, but they don’t fit into cup holders. Then I saw that this was cup holder friendly! Total game changer. Owala has outdone themselves. I have small hands and improve to arthritis so I had to be careful about purchasing one of these heavy style water bottles. The free ships sway 30 oz has indents where your hands would pick up the cup. The handles comfortable. The bottle does not keep ice but it does keep the water very cold. I love the straw feature because I don't have to lift the bottle up, and the lock mechanism is easy to use. I have to trick myself into drinking water and this bottle is the best I have found. It is very affordable for what it is. Also, it does fit in my car cup holders! I love the colors of this bottle. They feel light and fresh. It is easy to disassemble the cup for cleaning. There was no smell.

I absolutely LOVE this. Haven’t had a leak yet. The size is perfect (50oz). I drink a LOT of water and my last one from a different brand was 32oz. The option for such a large size was perfect for me. The fact that it comes with a dual drinking spout is so cool. Straw built right in or you can pour. Sleek design. The fact that the “o-ring” sits outside and above the threads is a game changer, I think. The one I had got shoved into the lid and it constantly got ripped because I had to remove it to clean under it so mold didn’t grow. The cost is a bit more than some other products like this, but it is WELL WORTH IT. It has a lock function too so the lid doesn’t pop up. And let’s talk about the lid.. it’s attached no risk of losing it of having to fiddle around and clip it to the handle like some other brands. It’s just perfect. I’m not a cup holder user usually, because the bigger the bottles get they don’t fit. But this was designed to taper at the end and still give you 50oz, so now I can use it in the cup holder too. 😭😍It’s perfect. I will buy another one, absolutely.

This was my first quality cup and I really didn’t want to spend so much money for something I didn’t think I would really use !!! But I actually LOVE it!! Am drinking more water than ever – which was my main goal!! I love the built In straw – and I went with the 30 oz ! I almost brought it back because I ordered the wrong size – but my best friend has the 20 oz and ours are the same height – mine is just a bit wider!!! Even the bottom is the same size !!! Easy to wash, as top is wider than bottom. I can remove the straw for less plastic contact with drink. It keeps ice amazingly cold even after my long walks. Fits all cup holders. Someone put significant design thought into this one. It's definitely the new standard for a quality water bottle!

Einfach mega! Die Flasche hält das Wasser ewig lang kalt. Sie hält wirklich zu 100% dicht, so dass man sich keine Sorgen mehr machen muss, wenn sie irgendwo mal quer in der Tasche liegt. Der Klickmechanismus, der den Deckel verschließt, funktioniert einwandfrei und sehr einfach. Das Trinken durch den Strohhalm ist angenehm, und man muss nicht ziehen wie ein Ochse, wie man das von manch anderen Flaschen kennt. Alles in allem einfach eine top Investition, würde ich wieder kaufen.

I've owned this bottle for a few weeks now so I feel I can evaluate it fairly at this point. In short, I'm convinced this is the best water bottle ever made. Seriously, I have no gripes and only 1 idea for improvement.

Pros:
– The handle seems very sturdy so I expect it to last a long time.
– The bottle tapers towards the bottom so it fits perfectly in standard cup holders.
– I have the 40oz one which is a lot of water.
– The pour + sip opening is genius and works great.
– All metal inside the bottle.
– Keeps water cold for a long time.
– The sip cover seems really durable.
– The lock is a good idea even though I don't use it often.
– Water tight.
– Cool colors.

Cons:
– None.

Improvements:
– I think it would be nice if they used a metal straw rather than plastic. I bought a metal straw that fits this bottle and it works great.

This is my favorite drinking flask ever. Its wide mouth easily accommodates ice cubes and fruits or anything else you would like to add easily. I love the different options for sipping or chugging, there’s no visible straw to deal with. This 30oz capacity is perfect for me. Love, love, love. This water bottle is it. I love the way you can drink from the invisible straw or chug it. I love the lid & how there’s a lock feature so there’s no spills. I love that it fits in a cup holder in the car (Toyota Highlander) it’s nice and sturdy, very well made. I wish there was some type of silicon bottom though as it gets scratched up super quick from use. I drink a ton of water throughout the day, so for the most part in my opinion I believe the ice retention is good, I’ve left it overnight and all my ice is still in it.

I looooove my Owala. I used to have the smaller version (not the Sway), but I'm happy I went with this one. The large handle makes it much easier to carry. I like that the lock on the lid can be used independently of where the handle is, unlike the older Owala version. It's super cute, and it fits in my car's cup holder. It's very easy to clean, and it holds plenty of ice and water to get me through my day. The freesip is awesome. I love that I have the choice between using the straw or sipping it like a regular bottle. Though to be honest, I pretty much only use the straw (I just like having options lol). I also love the color I got – the green (eucalyptus). I definitely recommend this water bottle!!

I purchased this one when I got home! The fact that you can chug, AND use the straw makes it very versatile. The lid closer has a lock on it which is awesome because sometimes things knock ot over. And with the lid locked, it's completely leak proof. I went with the larger handle and would definitely recommend that. The bottle is thick, solid, amd feels great in the hands.

I debated between an Owala and Hydroflask and ended up getting an Owala for it's vast fun colors as well as functionality. It keeps your water cold for more than 24 hours, has a straw for sipping and a spout for regular drinking, really nice design as well.

The only issue I have had with it is that the straw sometime comes off on it's own which can be annoying. I know it's there so you can take it out to wash but it coming off on it's own is tedious. The second issue is that if it falls over the lid opens way too easily and spills. It does have a lock for the lid but no ones uses it every time after drinking water so I wish the lid wouldn't open so easily.

Overall though really awesome, good quality and value, as well as good functionality. It's also one of the very few water bottles with a all black design since most have some sort of silver or grey metal showing thru which was annoying but Owala solved that!
