Awesome little machine, I no longer have to buy bags of ice. It makes ice in minutes.

It works just as it should, perfectly!
ICE PRODUCTION: It makes ice quickly and makes a generous amount. When the ice tray is full, I estimate it could probably fill three big-ish tumblers, like the ones from Starbucks. You only have to fill the water reservoir once to get multiple trays full which is extremely convenient. I'm not sure how many times it can fill the tray on one full thing of water, for sure more than 2 trays, might be up to four. The only reason it's hard to know is because the sensor on this thing is really good. It starts filling up the tray again whenever I remove ice cubes from it.
ICE TYPE: There is a small and large setting. I've only used the large setting so far. The ice comes out in a cylinder shape. The large size is a little bigger than the top of your thumb.
NOISE: I don't notice much of a noise beyond what I'd expect. You hear the ice fall as it's filling the tray and a slight hum as it's doing its thing, nothing more than a refrigerator would make, it's quieter though.
SIZE: It doesn't take up too much counter space, it's a little bit bigger than a toaster.
PORTABILITY: It does have a handle on it. I haven't used it yet. But I do imagine it would be easy to transport and potentially unplug and bring somewhere where and the ice could hold for a little bit.
COST: I spent about $45 on this product, I picked the blue one because it was cute and may have been cheaper at the time. As long as it continues working (I've only started using it a few days ago), it's a good deal! So, if you see the price lower at some point, buy it!
CLEANING: Since I only started using it a few days ago, I haven't cleaned it yet. It does have a cleaning button- always love that to make things easier. At this point I have no idea how often I'll need to clean it and the ease or difficulty of doing so.
MACHINE SETUP: Once unpacked, you need to let the machine stand upright for 24 hours before using it to let the cooling liquid settle. After that, you have the machine make some ice and dump the ice out. The instructions suggest doing this four times. I think I did it three times because I was getting impatient, haha! That was it! Easy peasy!
WHAT IT IS MISSING: The machine is perfect as is, but being nit-picky, it would be nice if it had a handle or something that would hold the scooper. The scoop is basically a little bit smaller than a cupped hand. But that's easy to fix with some Velcro or something. For the time being, I just put the scooper on top of the machine and it's not a problem at all.
SUMMARY: Buy it! Especially if you have it in your cart and been going back and forth on it!

Makes great ice!!! Very fast, and quiet.
Only problem is the refill water sensor doesnt turn on. Other than that I love it and I'm keeping it!

I was really disappointed when my freezer stopped making ice. I saw this portable Ice Maker and decided to try it. I've only had it for a few days, but so far, I love it. Ice is made really quickly. The cube size is adequate and it keeps my beverage ice cold! Well worth the cost.

Note, however, that the Icemaker doesn't have a freezer component, so the ice will start to melt if you leave it sitting in its basket. The little basket fills up pretty quickly, and the unit will stop until the ice is removed (or melts back into the water reservoir).

I just keep transferring it to my freezer's ice storage bin and then dispense the ice from the refrigerator ice dispenser. Works perfectly!

I watched how much he liked the one I have (different brand), so I got this one for Christmas. He LOVES it. He set it up and uses it daily. He is talking about taking with us camping because it has a handle and he will be able to have fresh ice for his soda instead of it melting in a cooler and needing to go and buy more for the rest of the trip. It is quiet, holds more ice than the one I bought for myself, fills quickly, he already knew the ice bin is not refrigerated so he is accustom to pulling the ice forward. He has a 3M wire toggle command hook attached to the side and hung the ice scoop on it with a snack baggie covering so no dust gets on it. I will concider when I need a repacement getting this one for my self I am very happy with the price and quality.
