I love this bag, everything is well thought out. I wanted it to carry every day things, including a tablet, but without having something big enough to fit a huge laptop. Quick access to the interior is as quick as it could be, with just 2 magnets meaning the top just lifts up. I've had bags with various buckles and hooks and none are as good as this. If you need deeper access, the zipped front is really useful. The internal pockets are very well thought out, and nice materials. My favourite feature is the bottle pocket, which is deep enough to avoid the bottle falling out, a pet hate of mine on other bags when swinging my bag over my shoulder or picking it up by the strap not perfectly upright. The fabric is a bit stiffer than I expect, but actually that helps it stay looking smart and holding its shape, and I've grown used to it and actually appreciate it now. It's my favourite "every day" bag. As a guy, we don't get handbags, but this is the next best thing.

I use this on my daily commute. It’s very convenient to open and close the top with the magnets (which I wish were a little stronger). However, there is zero security. This style of backpack might be a target for thieves, so think about how safe your area is and how valuable your contents are. For me, it’s just my coffee container, snacks, and a few miscellaneous things not even worth stealing. If you have sensitive documents or valuables then I would not recommend this model. Aside from security, it is comfortable with light and moderate loads. I would not use it for heavy things, since the tapered straps would cut into your underarms if the backpack was heavy. The positive side of the tapered straps is there is less sweat to absorb and it’s a little cooler in summer. The pockets all work well, and the side zipper allows access without even removing the backpack. The outside drink pocket has a stitch that can be removed to accommodate a slightly larger drink bottle. Without doing that, it can still fit my 24oz coffee tumbler.
