Good scale. Works well. The only thing I don't like is that it has volume measurements (fluid ounces and milliliters). That obviously does not make sense, and it means that when switching between pounds, ounces, and grams, you have to click a couple more times. Not the end of the world, but a little bit of a pain. Otherwise, it's a nice looking scale compared to many others. I like that it can weigh quite heavy things, compared with most kitchen scales. The silver is nice and looks high-quality. I love that it comes with batteries so I don't have to go fishing around for them.

I bought this scale for my job, actually I've purchased a few of them because I use them on work sites, and have broken a few (my fault, not a lack of durability). I've also left them behind. When comparted to other more expensive kitchen scales, including ones purchased for a lot more at restaurant supply stores, this one is just as accurate if not more so. It's also compact enough to throw in a tool bag, and holds tare extremely accurately. I personally couldn't care less about appearance, but if you were using it in the home and it was visible, you wouldn't be disappointed. It looks sleek and simple enough to blend in well with other kitchen appliances.

I bought this scale to weigh out food portions as part of a diet. I don't need it to do very much, just weigh grams and ounces, and have a simple tare function. It does these three things very well. There are other measurement settings which I don't use much, but it's nice to have those, too.

Buscaba una báscula que no estuviese delimitada por los bordes, como lo son la mayoría de básculas de cocina por motivos que desconozco. El tener esos bordes, limita mucho lo que puedes medir, ya que si pones un plato más o menos grande, este apoya en los bordes y no en la superficie de pesaje.
Esta, tanto por evitar ese problema como por lo que ofrece, una bascula de cocina sin florituras, simple, eficaz y barata, me parece la mejor que se puede comprar. Como se puede ver en las fotos, es totalmente precisa, incluso comparándola con una de precisión, se acerca bastante más de lo que era esperable para este tipo de básculas, que son más "brutas".

It's compact size fits well in my compact kitchen.
The stainless steel plate for the scale is easy to clean and looks attractive.
It's used daily in my household and has held up well over months looking brand new, and has survived some abuse from a toddler.
My only minor complaint is that it is not sensitive enough to measure to a decimal place on the gram setting. This is very rare that I would need this, but when I do it would be nice. It would not stop me from buying this scale again if needed.

I’m more of a “If it takes more than measuring cups and spoons I don’t need to make it” type cook. However when your dog is overweight and you’re told a specific amount, in ounces, he needs per meal you get a scale. Took some trial and error, but he gets what he should and I feel like a better pet parent. It’s easy to operate, offers different measurements etc. I’m not sure if it’s suitable for complex type cooking, but every day family type it can do the job.

I already had a kitchen scale, but I needed a new one for making my sourdough bread. The scale I currently have does not allow me to see the numbers very easily. I like how the digital screen protrude’s out from the scale itself so that you can see what you’re weighing and how much it weighs. It makes the scale much more functional. Quality seems well-made and this was definitely affordable and it works well. I really like how the display screen is easy to see even when using my large mixing bowl.

I like that it’s small enough to fit in the drawer with other items and doesn’t take up much space. I’ve used it for anything from weighing out foods, to use in full on “from scratch” recipes. Great for all things because you have different measurement options like grams, oz, and one other I believe.

I purchased another brand a year or so ago to replace another well known brand, which was inconsistent depending on where you placed the item on the scale. Well it turns out the scale that replaced the former, also had issues with inconsistent readings on its surface, or in the middle as well. I almost said to with it, I’ll get a non digital scale that I can calibrate. I then looked at the Amazon Basics and figured I’d give it a try, as I know their return policy is pretty good. This scale has been great. No matter where I place an item on the surface, let’s say a meatball, I get the same consistent weight of the item. Whether you Tare it out, or switch to grams, lbs, etc, the weight has not changed when removing and replacing several times. Amazon basics is a keeper. I threw the other junk out. Hope this lasts. I will update accordingly if there are any issues.
