As our skin is exposed to many rigours and a wide range of environmental influences in everyday life, it requires careful care. The foaming CeraVe cleansing gel provides oily and acne prone skin with numerous active ingredients that nourish and prevent the skin from drying out. Excess sebum is gently removed without affecting the protective barrier of the skin. Ceramides have a strengthening effect and protective against external influences, while niacinamide soothes stressed skin. Moisture is stored in the skin all day thanks to MVE technology, so it feels fresh and nourished! The foaming cleansing gel has been developed by dermatologists and is very well tolerated as it contains no fragrances. It easily attaches to moistened skin and can also be used to remove makeup.

CeraVe – Developed with the expertise of dermatologists

In 2005, leading dermatologists from the USA researched for a skin care that should strengthen the skin protection barrier as well as combine dermatological effectiveness with maximum usage. The result was CeraVe. CeraVE products contain a combination of ceramides and the patented active ingredient release MVE. They are characterised by a silky, delicate skin feeling.

The care routine

For optimal results for blemished skin, a routine in two steps is recommended: Use CeraVe pore deep cleaning and then the anti-impurities gel. You can simply apply the foaming cleansing gel to the moistened face, gently massage in and rinse thoroughly. Apply the anti-impurities gel to cleansed skin and affected areas in a targeted way to counteract pimples and pimples. The combination of this routine gives acne prone skin what it needs to be optimally nourished.

Texture

The light texture of the gel is extremely soothing, refreshing and effectively cleanses. In addition, it lathers when using, which is particularly pleasant and resting. The skin is moisturised with each application, so it does not dry out despite a thorough cleansing.

Application

The cleansing gel is ideal for daily use on blemished and oily skin. This is pleasantly cleaned and excess sebum, or even make-up, removed. Thanks to the controlled release of the active ingredients, the skin is also moisturised throughout the day.

Fragrance-free

No additional fragrances are added during production. Due to the fact that the ingredients only create a slight own fragrance, the CeraVE products are to be described as odourless. Dermatologists usually advise fragrance-free products as additional fragrances can cause skin irritation.
